What On-Site Software Recovery Can & Can't Do
Honest limits before you book. Professional sector-level tools (partition search, file-system rebuild, RAW scan, disk imaging with bad-sector handling) work wonders — but only on logically damaged, still-detecting drives.

Supports NTFS / FAT32 / exFAT / ext2-4 / HFS+ / APFS-style volumes, lost partitions, MFT / boot-sector damage and sector imaging. Long deep scans (hours) can continue at home with a licensed copy — we set it up before we leave.

We do not open drives or solder on site. If we hear clicking / see no detection, we stop, charge only the visit, and refer you to a cleanroom lab — no false promises.
How The Visit Works
Book a visit
Pick a time below. We come to your home / office in Sydney. First hour $170 + GST, $100 per hour after.
On-site diagnosis (hour 1)
We assess if the drive is software-recoverable on the spot or has hardware failure needing lab referral.
Image + recover to your spare drive
If recoverable, we clone / image sector-by-sector to your spare USB drive (>= damaged drive size) and extract files.
Verify + next steps
You check recovered files on the spot. Long scans may need a licensed copy to continue at home — we set it up.

Visit fee + drive fee (if requested) are paid before the visit to confirm booking. Drive must match your damaged size (e.g. 1TB → 1TB+), max 4TB ~$299 depending on model and actual price. No per-GB fees.
Please prepare before we arrive
- • Bring your own spare USB drive ≥ damaged size (e.g. 1TB → 1TB+), or we supply one on request — tell us your damaged size in the form and we bring the correct size (up to 4TB max ~$299, model/actual price varies).
- • Power + desk space + your PC/laptop login. We bring adapters and tools.
- • Do NOT run chkdsk / format / reinstall — it overwrites data.
- • Have BitLocker / passwords ready if the drive is encrypted.
Visit fee + drive fee (if requested) must be paid before the visit to lock in your slot. Recovery never writes back to the same drive.
